How to Apply - B.S.D.H. Application Process
- Applicants interested in the Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene Program at Georgia State University will need to first apply to Georgia State University. Applicants will be required to pay a $60 non-refundable fee.
- Next, all Georgia State University students must also apply to Lewis College as an UNDECLARED major. Once a Lewis College applicant is accepted into the B.S.D.H. program, their major will be changed to Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene by an academic advisor. There is not an additional application fee for Lewis College for the B.S.D.H. program.
- After being accepted into the Lewis College B.S.D.H. Program, students will receive an official acceptance letter and will be permitted to register for courses available for that upcoming semester.
- Not all GSU B.S.D.H. courses are offered every semester, so please plan accordingly when deciding on what courses you wish to take throughout the program. Students may take as few or as many courses as they would like, to provide flexibility, however, 12 credit hours are required to receive financial aid.
