Dr. Kara Strauss has been named president of the Georgia State University PT Alumni Network. Dr. Strauss graduated from Georgia State’s DPT program in 2012. She currently teaches an elective course on pain behavior and holistic care for the DPT program and brings her educational approach to her patients. Dr. Strauss owns a private orthopedic practice, SuperHuman Therapy, in Atlanta, where she incorporates aerial dance (trapeze and silks), Pilates, and Yoga into her care. She is also trained and highly experienced in dry needling, pelvic floor, and visceral mobilization. She is proud to serve on the PT Alumni Network board for the Georgia State program.
Dr. Krystyna Holland has been named vice president of the Georgia State University PT Alumni Network. Dr. Holland graduated from Georgia State’s PT program in 2018, where she won a paper plate award for “Most Likely to Relate Your Shoulder Pain to Your Pelvic Floor.” She took that literally and founded her private practice, Inclusive Care, in Denver, Colorado. She specializes in treating individuals across the gender identity spectrum, managing pelvic floor dysfunction. She can also be found on Instagram educating about pelvic floor physical therapy.
