Congratulations to Kristen Lingle, a clinical assistant professor of nursing. She received the 2020-2021 Georgia State University College to Career Quality Enhancement Plan fellowship. She plans to use the award to develop infection prevention and disease control content needed to stop transmission of COVID-19 and future disease outbreaks studied by undergraduate students.
“We believe that [Professor Lingle’s] work is essential to improving minority student retention rates in the health professions majors. Retaining these students is vital to improved health outcomes and ultimately to health equity in disadvantaged populations,” said Dr. Lynda Goodfellow, senior associate dean for academics in the Lewis College. This is the second time Lingle has received the CTC fellowship
