Congratulations to Kimberly Morelli, clinical associate professor of physical therapy and program director for receiving the 2020 Teaching Excellence Award from the Lewis College. The award lets Morelli improve student learning experiences by adding virtual reality technology in the gross anatomy and functional anatomy courses, both difficult courses for doctor of physical therapy students. Morelli hopes to share her experience using this teaching tool at a future national PT conference.
“Students comment about how helpful Dr. Morelli is, in and outside of class, going above and beyond what some students have seen in other courses. By adding virtual reality technology, her courses will be at the highest level of technological teaching in the Lewis College,” said Lynda Goodfellow, senior associate dean for academics.
