Childhood experiences accompanying her father on medical mission trips led Nancy Brenneman to a career change into the field of nursing. A paralegal who assisted immigrant doctors and nurses to settle in underserved U.S. communities, Brenneman saw firsthand the impact the healthcare professionals made on the communities. This earlier work led her to pursue a degree in nursing; Brenneman graduated with a B.S. in nursing in December.
