Critical care registered nurse and nursing leadership Master of Science alumna, Laura Mitchell, stepped into nursing history last summer when she cared for the two American patients who had contracted the deadly Ebola virus in Africa. Mitchell is part of a highly-trained, specialized care team of Emory University Hospital nurses and CDC infectious disease doctors, and she shares her experience to help other nurses as the incidences of infectious disease rises.
