Biography

Clinical Experience
Yoonjeong Lim has worked in pediatric outpatient clinics and school-based settings. She treated children and adolescents with a range of conditions, including autism spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, and sensory processing disorders.

Research Interests
Yoonjeong Lim conducts research investigating health-related quality of life of children with rare disorders and the impact that these disorders have on family functioning and family quality of life. Dr. Lim’s most recent research examined the relationship of a child’s functional ability, family cohesion, and satisfaction with healthcare to quality of life and functioning of families of children with rare disorders. She plans to expand her research to diverse early onset childhood rare disorders and to develop effective strategies to support positive family functioning and improve the well-being of families raising children with rare disorders.
